Billy Kent Payne

Billy Kent Payne of Vine Grove, KY passed away the University of Louisville Hospital on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the age of 74.

Billy was born in Altus, OK. He proudly served and retired from the US Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Addie Payne.

Survivors include his two brothers, Keith Payne (Martha) and Tim Payne; several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family and friends.

Cremation was chosen by the family. There will be a memorial service held in his home state of Texas at a later date.
